Everyone’s An Inspiration.

I have been so incredibly busy! Believe me, I have not abandoned my website. In fact, I plan on adding some things to it gradually in the next month or so. I think it would be interesting to have separate articles that contains my views and thoughts on certain subjects. I started a series of blogs on Myspace pertaining to relations between men and women. I started getting feedback that I never thought my blogs would get but it seems to me that in sharing my thoughts and experiences with people on this matter, my readers are more than influenced. I figured I’d keep posting more blogs because maybe somewhere, someone may find it to be truly inspirational. If everyone could share their experiences with everyone else, think about how many people one can inspire. I love reading and hearing the experiences of others because it helps me to compare situations and draw my own conclusions. Everyone has some inspirational story to tell and I strongly encourage them to tell it.

These series of articles that I plan on posting on this website are going to be random sometimes and relating to other articles that I post at other times. I’m going to categorize them and they’ll have their own separate sections within the website. I may or may not enable comments. Sometimes I just want to tell a story, not receive feedback. Although, people still have the option of emailing me. I was told by a lot of my friends, associates and family members that I should share my experiences with other people. It’s crazy because I have been through a lot in my life and while others see my experiences as inspirational, I see them as curses sometimes. I also figured that in sharing some of these experiences, maybe, if I received feedback from other people, it may help me to draw some useful conclusions for myself. I guess we shall see.

If any of you haven’t noticed, I have reverted back to the Kodak Moments theme because I love it so much! You still have the option of switching themes on the sidebar of any theme of your choosing. I plan on adding another theme in a month or so as well. I may even be adding a shop to my website. I tried before, but what was happening was, people were placing orders and not contacting me to follow up on their orders, so I removed the shop that I had on a subdomain. There are a lot of things I would like to add to this website. It’s just going to take me some time. I hope that everyone has a safe and fun-filled weekend. Be safe!

I think everyone should use their blogs to their fullest which includes sharing their expierences, venting, or by telling a good story. You never know who’s reading and who can benifit from your words :cheery:

Oo, that sounds like a good idea. I know what you mean about not really wanting anyone to comment on something. Sometimes you just want to let something out and writing it down/typing it helps. :)

Hope you have a great weekend as well~!! :star: :star:

I think your blogs are on of the most inspirational ones out on the www. I’ve been following you (on and off) for quite a while now and I always find myself reading all of your blogs (whether they be short or long). I always end up thinking about it and trying to connect your words to my life and I love giving my opinion on it :)

I do think experiences you deal with that you think are curses are always a learning experience. So there will always be some people who will find it educational and/or inspirational!

I like your post title: everyone’s an inspiration. It is true too: everyone can inspire everyone. We all have stories to tell that might or might not change other people’s lives or at least help them to deal with several issues. I think your series of articles, which you’re planning to put on this website, are a good idea. Everyone loves to hear the opinion of someone who can express herself well. It might be a help or inspiration to others. Also, if I were you, I would think really hard before giving the shop another try. Chances are that history will repeat itself: a lot of people ask things, but never pay for them or let you spend all your time making a layout (or something alike) and then they say they no longer need it or think it is not good enough. But if you really feel like it, you should give it a try though, I’m just saying you should think about it carefully.

That’s positive of you to write blogs about certain experiences . I sometimes think people can’t relate to things I blog about but then again I believe almost everyone has been through SOMETHING that relates them to someone in this world .
Good luck with you blogs and add-on’s to the site , interesting ideas .
<3 the road to home theme .

It is a good thing to share experiences (whether good or bad), many people are so determined to make their own mistakes and they think by doing that they would get a better understanding of things. While you may get a better understanding you have the consequences to deal with. The best advice I’ve ever received was to “learn from the experiences of others”.

I’m looking forward to your new venture, I love your blogs and your opinions and insight is inpirational and everyone can take something from your insight

  13. January 28th, 2008 at 3:08 pm

That’s such a good idea! I’ve been thinking about that for my site as well, and I am just waiting until I have the chance to update, or waiting until Feb to be exact. And then I’ll be building separate categories, and perhaps shorten my categories for sure…
best of luck for your new goal!

  14. January 29th, 2008 at 1:56 pm

WOW – it sounds like you’ve got some ideas for your site. I’m sure you’ll be able to inspire people with your words. You’ve inspired me to get motivated to start thinking on a new layout. This one is just so pretty, I want to give my site a new look that’s just as pretty. *lol*

  15. January 29th, 2008 at 2:31 pm

You should definantly consider reopening your shop! I, for one, will end up buying something from you (if you’re doing themes or such) just because I’m having an incredible creators block. I’ve also thought about adding experiences page to my website, but I found I have trouble expressing my feelings into writing, and I have trouble grasping the idea that ANYONE could read, and judge me.

  16. January 29th, 2008 at 10:05 pm

I agree, everyone is an inspiration and it is a wonderful thing when you can inspire someone else. But I love this theme too! Don’t ever delete it! LOL But I know what you mean about wanting to add more to your website. There are a lot of things I want to do with mine but time is just something I do not have a lot of.

  17. January 30th, 2008 at 1:22 am

I think that’s a good idea bc you verbally express yourself well and what you type is relatable to alot of people. I say DO IT!

  18. January 30th, 2008 at 2:01 pm

I have been busy to girl. don’t feel bad. sometimes we just get too caught up in other things.

  19. January 30th, 2008 at 7:26 pm

  20. February 1st, 2008 at 2:17 am

I love reading your blogs. You’re one of my 3 link exchanges that actually blog about something real. Keep them coming.

I like this theme too…not sure if it’s the grey would with the flim or what. But it’s claming to me.

  21. February 2nd, 2008 at 2:04 pm

Me and mer pal Inga are working on something like that. I think it’s pretty cool to do such a thing =]

I agree with you. When someone shares a story or their experiences with me that enables me to learn and grow. I’m sometimes inspired to do something good for myself or change for the better =]

You yourself are an interesting character might I add =D I wouldn’t be surprised if people in general looked up to you

  22. February 2nd, 2008 at 2:40 pm

I’ve been pretty stagnant myself with my site, but I got an email the other day about one of my posts telling me how inspiring it was, and it literally blew my mind, but it inspired me to come back and start writing again.

  23. February 2nd, 2008 at 7:17 pm

Everytime I come to your site I’m inspired. Sometimes I come to read your blog and forget to comment because I’m so deep in thought from reading it lol it’s weird :cheery:

  24. February 3rd, 2008 at 6:13 pm

I’m so geeky because I really get into articles like that, though I might not always voice my opinion. I can’t wait to read them & yeah NO MORE DOMAINS FOR ME! It was just temptation, gosh! ahahaha. Yeah I love this theme too! I’m asking for an exchange in my current blog entryyyy I wanted to know if you’d like to take part? Let me know it would mean a lot to me! <3

  25. February 3rd, 2008 at 8:19 pm

    The theme is cute!
I love the thought of sharing experiences. It’s a good way to know where people are coming from instead of giving your first impression.I love thought-provoking, intelluctual readings.Looking forward to reading it!

  26. February 4th, 2008 at 12:44 am

What kind of shop was it? But I’d love to read some of your articles.

  27. February 4th, 2008 at 3:32 am

youre such a talented and insightful person. keep it up! and your son is a DOLL! have you ever considered child modeling for him? he could make you rich! :P

  28. February 4th, 2008 at 6:34 am

okay its clear i need glasses because my comment didn’t show since i apparently did not pass the math. so back to what i was saying was i think its brave to share your personal experiences on the internet knowing what assholes people on here can be. because of that i tend not to say that many personal things going on in my life.

i started adding things to offer up to people on the site nothing special but a few things and the one thing i asked was NOT to direct link do you think they followed? nope! so now i don’t even want to add anything period.

i like this theme too love the colors :)

  29. February 5th, 2008 at 9:08 am

I like this theme! It’s purty! post soon!

  30. February 5th, 2008 at 12:13 pm

I think that’s a good idea. :) I think you’re a very talented writer and you always write about things that make me think and often I compare it to my own life and thoughts, and it does help.

So keep on blogging Shannon!

  31. February 6th, 2008 at 8:25 am

I love to Kodak Theme and Im glad you decided to stick to it awhile longer..

I can attest to being caught and busy too – I think this is the season since it is a new year and all..

Look forward to your gradual updates

  33. February 6th, 2008 at 10:45 pm

There is a way to cross post between Myspace and WordPress, its a plugin. That might suit you best for what you want to do.

  34. February 9th, 2008 at 1:20 am

    I think that’s a really good idea! :)
I hope it comes through, because I’m sure I’ll be inspired by one of them.

I think this layout is pretty neat.
Hope you have a good weekend too :)
