Treating Myself.

Lately, I’ve been extremely busy with work and other things at home. I haven’t had much time to update my website. However, I will try to blog a little more and keep up with your blogs/journals. I have been getting sick a lot lately. It’s probably a result of this wacky weather. Besides that fact, I haven’t been myself lately, either. I’ve been feeling really down and exhausted. I won’t lie, on average, I get about 4 hours of sleep a night, if that. The baby keeps me up for the most part and then I have to wake up at 7AM to get ready for work. It’s tough right now being as though I’ve been in these moods, but I’m hanging in there.

I’ve finally decided to treat myself to a few things. I haven’t done any major shopping in years but over the course of the past 2 weeks, I’ve went clothes shopping, and bought myself a phone. I’m not even a phone person but I sure did buy myself a Sidekick 3. I don’t need anything newer because for right now it’s for emergencies and I use it to text whenever I’m on the bus or feeling lazy in my bed at home. I’m not an avid shopper, either. I go into stores and come out frustrated as hell. I usually try to think about what I want before I enter a store.

There’s nothing in particular that I’d like to discuss here. You guys can keep up on part of my life by adding me to livejournal.

I’ve been getting sick alot too. I think it is the weather. Sunny one day and a snow storm the next. I sure hope you get better Shannon. Try to get more rest and it’s greated that you did something for YOU for once.

same here. I’ve been sick a lot lately and just last week I have to be absent in work to have a bed rest. I hate this kind of weather too, it would be sunny then next thing you know, it’s getting cold again.

Good for you, you’re not the type of person who shops almost everyday where I suffer on that problem. lols. I can’t help but buy something whenever I went to a mall. Argh..

That’s great, Shannon! You definitely deserve a little treat for yourself! :D I’m not an avid shopper as well. I usually go shopping when/if I NEED something. When I go shopping with my friends who go shopping “for fun”, I’d usually just go home with nothing really. Heh.

Anyway, take good care of yourself. 4 hours of sleep is not enough, but hey that’s what I get too being in University, so I understand.

Hope everything will go well for you! *hugs*

I’m hating this weather to. I’m nocturnal so I’m up all night anyway, lol. I really want to get regulated though. =[ It’s hard to get back to normal once you’re off. I want a new phone except I want an iPhone, it looks awesome. :)

Shopping always makes me feel better. And I havent been sleeping to good lately neither. But since I’ve been a little under the weather some nyquil helps me sleep the night through. I’ve been feeling a little down lately too… I think I’m homesick. But I remember when my mom had her baby, she was a bit depressed and kept giving him to me. LOLSZ. I tried to help her the best way I could because I know how babies can put that pressure on you.

Oh man, I’m sorry. I hope you get some more sleep soon. :] And I definitely do not shop a lot either, I get too overwhelmed most of the time.

It’s the same here. I don’t really have much time to update my blog or keep up with others as much, but I do my best. It will get better. It’s good that you treated yourself. You should try a nice pedicure and manicure next time. It is so relaxing and you’ll feel refreshed afterwards. Speaking of that I need to get one myself lol!

Treating yourself is a nice thing to do from time to time… I’m glad, i hope it’s lifted your spirits a bit. It sucks to be in the dumps so often. As for your sickness, have you gone to the doctors?? You might be having iron deficiency, which doesn’t allow your body to have immunity against colds and flus. I hope you’ll get well rested to get back on your feet inside-wise :)

Awww.. Feel better soon! Being a mother is tough eh? But I heard it’s really rewarding :-)

Oohhh sidekicks! Cool phone. Good thing your not an avid shopper, less expenses!

We all are sick. This weather is tricky as the days move on. One minute it’s snowing, raining, and another time the sun is out shining as if spring is here. Blah!

I’m in a different mood too. Can’t say much for it. But I do know that it’ll pass. I know it’s tough being a single mother. I watched my mom do it for my whole life. Took a tole on me growing up.

Aw, I really enjoy your site! I hope you don’t allow it to go to the pits =( Even if I don’t comment always I do read (or lurk rather LOL). Anyhow, I hope you get back into good health. Having a busy bee life & a young baby; you really need your strength up.

You deserve it! Splurging every blue moon is not so bad :) I am the same way as far as cell phones go. I was ecstatic when I got my BlackJack2 even though nobody I know has one & its not all that popular any more, I  it and I’m happy with it.

Gosh babies can sure keep you awake, too bad you are working and a full time mom. Our bodies are quite adaptable so I am sure you will get by.

    Positive thinking. :) xx
