GeeMail Vs. MailPlane

Recently, I was trying out a new application called GeeMail. At first glance, it looks very nice, very well put together and convenient. After the installation and setup, I immediately noticed everything that it lacked. First of all, the program was kind of too slow for my taste. It took forever to load my email messages and shifting between the program and the gmail website, I noticed that it also took a long time receiving new messages as well. At this point uninstalled it and did some more exploring and came across another application, MailPlane.

This program looked very promising but guess what? It’s only compatible with the MAC operating system. I was highly disappointed. This app appeared to be not only convenient but very well put together too and someday I’m hoping that there will be one for the Windows OS. Although it’s not exactly free, I’d pay for it, just because it’s super convenient and very well put together.
