An Outrage.

There was an amber alert put out for a missing child and her mother. However, the story turned out to be quite shocking to say the least and I’m honestly outraged by it. You can read the story here.

Someone please tell me why the hell would she lie and tell authorities that three black men abducted her and her child? That is completely insane and racist as hell to me. It’s sad that she would even do something like that. I was reading the paper this morning and apparently this woman had financial problems and had laundered money from a law firm in which she worked. She fled with her daughter and the money and made up a story to cover up her disappearance. Needless to say, she didn’t think things through completely and ended up being caught. Her actions disgust me because not only did she use racism in her plot to escape, but she also involved an innocent 9-Year old child in her shenanigans. Women like that should not be mothers. I hope that this woman is punished for her outrageous and irresponsible actions.

This economy is jacked up but it doesn’t give people a reason to go behaving like fools because their behaviors do in fact, harm other people as well. I’m disappointed in the world overall. No one cares about one another anymore. People are going through things everyday alone and sometimes what we do, affects other people. That’s one thing that people fail to realize. I believe that everything that we do, has an effect somewhere else, with someone else or a group of people or particular events. We’re all linked together, you’d be a fool not to realize that.

I’m mad as hell reading that story. It amazes me how ignorant people can still be. God I hope she goes to prison.

She’s not the first person to do something to her kid(s) and blame a black person. :( Susan Smith said a black man stole her car with her kids in it, but she actually rolled the car in a lake (kids inside) so she could run off with a rich man. And in a lot of these cases innocent people (Black men) are accused and arrested. I’m surprised people still use this excuse, but I shouldn’t be.

That’s terrible. And the worst part about it is that they believed her story. Probably arrested a few black men and accusing them of the “crime” they committed. Sick, sad world, we live in. This woman should be arrested and charge with a heinous crime.

It’s a bitch. In stores here in U.K. the security have special codes for certain ethnic minorities and which sex you are. For example:
If I walked into a store, and an elderly white woman walked intoa store, the code would be to follow me because 1. I am black, 2. I am female and 3 I am young.

Same with Asian people, Racism is still around man. I mean you see a white guy running and a black dude running. people would think the black dude has done something wrong. Fuckers.

And something similar happened over with that case. A lady hid her child under the bed so people would send money to her to help find her child. They found the child hiding under the bed and arrested the woman for fraud and deception. Still, praying on people’s sympathies is wrong.

That’s ridiculous! Reading over things, I’m sure some sort of mental illness played a part in this as well. It’s just as bad as women with Munchausen Syndrome making their children sick for attention. And the whole race thing makes me sick to my stomach. Whenever I watch cops or some show along those lines, 85% of the time, the suspects say, “Oh, it wasn’t me, it was a black/Mexican/Iranian guy.” It’s ridiculous. I thought we were past that?

I heard about this on the news to and it’s really sad. I am not sure that it is entirely her fault, though. It was entirely her actions that put the plan into effect, however, it is society’s perception of what it means to be black that allowed it to happen. It would be interesting to know how the story would have turned out if she said they were abducted by white men instead. I don’t think there would be quite so much of a buzz around it.

I totally agree. It’s simply sad and pathetic for this “mother”, if you will, to involve her child in foolishness. Hopefully, the child is placed with some relatives who are sane and mentally stable because it is clear that she is not. All we can do for people like that is pray..HARD!

This is absolutely crazy. Some people will do anything to avoid being in trouble.

Wow that’s a crazy @Shola. These kind of stories never stop. I’m so tired of the madness!

I really can’t believe people are still lying about shit like that in 09. Instead of tryna find her childs abducter – she’s worried about wrongfully accusing some black men. When shit like that happens you ALREADY know they have somethin to do with the kidnapping.
